Your healthcare plan has you covered

What medications are covered by my healthcare plan?

Many healthcare plans, including Medicaid and Medicare, cover nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) such as the nicotine patch, gum, inhaler, and spray.

Other non-nicotine medications may also be covered by your healthcare plan. Medications like bupropion SR (brand names Zyban or Wellbutrin) and varenicline (brand name Chantix®).

Be sure to talk with your healthcare provider about which medication and dosage are right for you.
