  3. Your list of reasons why you want to quit.
  4. A calendar to mark your quit date.
  5. A list of family and friends who will support you.
  6. Solutions for triggers that could lead you back to smoking.
  7. A plan for getting rid of ashtrays, lighters, and cigarettes.
  8. An exercise plan (with doctor approval).
